Byron and Abby are thoughtful, genuine and fun. If our initial meeting was any indicator to how much we would enjoy these guys, then our time with them over good ol deep south bbq was dead on! Not only do we completely love Byron and Abby, after meeting and celebration at the Berry family farm, we love their family and friends too!!!! Being present to witness their wedding day was truly amazing, heartfelt, beautiful and yummy!
Set on the hillside of the Berry farm, overlooking distant mountain ranges and southern greenery, every detail.. and I mean every one, was meticulously thought about with love and meaning in mind. It is certain that Byron and Abby share a deep and real love with a passion for their lives to reflect grace and care for one another. They committing their lives to one another within the handcrafted walls of an outdoor chapel that Byron built himself for his sweet bride. Reclaimed windows and wooden walls hemmed in this couple as they shared their vows and embraced for the first time as husband and wife. Their mantra of redemption and lifelong love echoed throughout shared words and glances. The lovely outdoor reception was canopied by a giant old oak tree over a century old. Beautifully crafted decor, Handpicked wildflowers, heirloom memorabilia from another time were found on the tables and other various locations throughout the reception. It was so perfect my camera could hardly stop a snappin:) Each little item told another portion of their life stories past experiences, present joys and future hopes.
The perfectly set backyard reception filled with laughter and cherished moments as the delicious smells of brunch prepared by family floated throughout. What I wouldn’t give for another portion of those grits..mmm! After final hugs and goodbyes and the warm summer evening set in, the newlyweds whisked away in a super cool 60s era Chevy Impala…drool! Such a great exit!!! I think we may have even had a few lighting bugs threaten to illuminate their honeymoon path! Thank you Byron and Abby for inviting us to be a part of your celebrations and what a sweet reminder to how blessed we are in sharing this life’s joys with those around us. We wish you all the best and blessings as you pursue this life together!
